The Road to Perdition is Paved with Pacifism

"If you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans." Old Yiddish Folk Saying.

We have all heard this one before. But, Christians, this does not mean that we sit back and watch life go by while our society continues on a downhill slide. Wake up people - there is too much work to be done. Others that do not share our beliefs, the liberal and sex crazed media and the public schools are doing the work. Guess what? The results are showing. You can and should get involved socially, politically and educationally.

If you are tired of the media telling our daughters that they need a certain size breast and waist to matter in this society, if you are tired of our sons being told to take performance enhancing drugs to excel in sports, if you are tired of our kids learning that sex is a social happening and not something between one man and one woman that are married then speak up.

If you are sick of homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle being pushed down our throats, if you are fed up with our kids being taught that homosexual parents are normal and they are to accepted as such and those who do not want their kids to hear it are the strange ones - attend a school board meeting.

If you have had it with fringe liberal churches ordaining homosexual ministers and excusing child molesters and ignoring the word of God - pray continually and expose them when possible.

If you have heard for too long that the Bible is an antiquated story book of fictional characters, with no truth or relevance to today's world - give your testimony.

If you have seen too many pastors or reverends endorse candidates that are pro-abortion and have racist spiritual leaders - call them out. 40 million babies have been aborted since Roe v. Wade. Get mad about it. While in the Illinois State Senate, Obama blocked a bill that would have guaranteed Constitutional rights to any baby that survived an abortion. Tell everyone you know about this man's stance on abortion. His wife has even spoke out in favor of the dreadful partial birth abortion. Speak up. (Check the link below) http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=51121

If you are tired of the breakdown of the family and America's core values of hard work, freedom, charity and the sanctity of life being traded for money grabbing corporations and a nanny state - shout it from the rooftops.

I personally am tired of being constantly told to compromise my Christian values to accommodate others. These beliefs I will never compromise and you should not either. Go vote, volunteer on a campaign of someone that shares these values, donate to their effort. Donate to organizations such as ROCK and Choices for Women. They are making a difference, but they need your help.

Being active in the fight is your right as an American and I believe your duty as a Christian. Don't delay any longer. Get involved.

Why women should vote for Hillary

New York Senator Hillary Clinton was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame in 2005. The Hall is housed in Seneca Falls. Fast forward to 2006 and the "Courts, Transportation and Treasury Appropriations Bill" where she found some blank space to insert an earmark to the tune of $800,000 for the National Women's Hall of Fame. Seems they needed a new building to house all the accolades to HRC.

Listen up females, if she can get a chunk of change like that for the Hall, surely she can hook up the homemakers club of Southern Indiana with some dough. All you have to do is make her an honorary member and presto - cash. We all know that she knows her way around a kitchen.

Hip-Hop Mayor Charged : Faces Different Kind of Rap Sheet

Time to face the music for Kwame Kilpatrick, the Democrat Mayor of Detroit. The charges against him and his chief of staff lover were laid out, so to speak, today by the prosecutor's office. Obstruction of justice, perjury, misusing public funds and throw in misconduct for good measure. The perjury charge carries up to fifteen years in the big house, but those rap guy types like to have some street cred., right? The misuse of funds stems from his attempt to use $9 million in tax payer funds to keep three whistle blowers quiet.

Kwame, unlike others scumbags that have to face the cameras, did two things very differently. First, he said he will not resign and looks forward to being exonerated. Listen up Kwame Cool Snoop Diddy, you are finished - resign today. Your pitiful city has endured enough without having to listen to anymore of your lies. Second, Kwame's wife and his three children were not present for today's press conference. The judge overlooking this investigation has been told that documents pertaining to this investigation were destroyed. No matter, enough evidence remains, like thousands of text messages between the two love birds. Look on the bright side Kwame, you have a future as governor of NY.

Wear These During an Obama Speech

This veteran was spotted wearing this spring's must have accessory. Don't leave home without them. He was listening to HRC and BHO speak at a VFW function. Thanks to Ron for passing it along.

Mike Sodrel to Make Campaign About Issues

The following is an e-mail text I received from Mike Sodrel. I will continue to post any that get passed along to me to keep the locals up on what is happening.

March 20, 2008
Greetings!
Well, we're off and running. I officially filed to be a candidate on January 25. That day we kicked off a 20-county tour of the district. We stopped in courthouses, libraries, and coffee shops all over the 9th district to greet supporters and talk to the local media about this race. We got great press coverage all over the district. I have been encouraged by Hoosiers from both sides of the aisle. To me this election isn't about candidates or parties. It's about the future of our Republic. I feel that this election is arguably the most important in my lifetime. After much prayer, Keta and I decided that we couldn't sit on the sidelines for this one. The future of our children and grandchildren, and future generations of Americans is much too important for me to stand idle.
We've been hearing the word "change" quite a bit recently. Bigger government and higher taxes is not change. That's more of the same. I want to see real change. One idea that would bring real change is the Fair Tax. The Fair Tax would eliminate income taxes and replace it with a sales tax. By moving taxes from production to consumption, the Fair Tax levels the tax playing field between American products and foreign products. So it's not only a tax bill, it's a jobs bill. You can read more about the Fair Tax at www.fairtax.org.
This is just one of the many issues that I will be discussing as the campaign goes forward. I encourage you to stay in contact with me and I humbly ask for your support. Please see my website at www.mikesodrel.com. From there, you can sign up to volunteer, make a donation, and keep up to date on our campaign.
Sincerely,

Mike

The Audacity of Hypocrites

I bet you thought I was going to say hope!? I could write on a new public servant that has betrayed the public trust just about everyday. Today I will try to sum up several in a short space since I quickly tire of babbling blowhards.
Kwame Kilpatrick, the mayor of Detroit for now, was asked to step down last night in a vote by the city council. His answer was an indignant NO. Barack Obama has stated that "words matter." I wonder if that same rule applies to text messages. That is how Kwame expressed his affection for his Chief of Staff over 800 times on a city issued mobile phone. They both swore under oath that there is no relationship. I guess it depends on what your definition of "is" is.

Next we have the newly appointed governor of New York, David Paterson. One day after taking the oath of office, he has admitted to affairs that included a "number of women." Among those was a state employee. His wife also had multiple affairs, but none of the couple's trysts involved state money. Eliot's episode was also paid for out of pocket.

Now to Obama. He tried to distance himself from Jeremiah Wright yesterday. Out of one side of his mouth he denounced the statements while saying his pastor was misunderstood and still a friend out of the other side. Still not enough distance, but enough that Hillary can slide in and steal this thing.

I will wrap up the all hypocrites hour with Ted Kennedy. Seems he likes to dump diesel into the Nantucket Sound. At least it's not a body in a river. Here's the link to read all about it.http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/Kennedy_polluter/2008/03/14/80443.html?s=al&promo_code=473F-1

Cult of Personality

Enjoy this video of "trusted advisor" Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama's Pastor for more than twenty years. Reports today place Barack in the sanctuary on September 22, 2007, when one of the more controversial sermons spilled from the mouth of this racist man. How do we know this? The secret service agents were subjected to this garbage and that is a matter of recorded fact. Mr. Wright served on Obama's campaign until recently as the African-American Leadership Committee Chairman. Mr. Wright also traveled with Nation of Islam founder Louis Farrakhan to Tripoli to meet with Gaddafi.

Obama will give a speech on Tuesday in Philadelphia on this subject. He equates Wright's words to an Uncle that we all have and love, but don't always agree with. This man married Barack and Michelle and baptized the Obama children.

Roger, here's your chance to root out one of those churches that need to lose their tax exempt status for meddling in politics. Too, late - the IRS is already investigating.

Barack has been quoted as saying, "It will light upon you. You will experience an epiphany. And you will say to yourself, I have to vote for Barack. I have to do it." It just hit me - this guy scares the snot out of me. I may be voting Hillary in the upcoming Indiana Primary.

Spitzer's Last Song in the Key of ME-ME-ME

Forget about Doe and Ray. This little diddy was all about ME! That's how soon to be former governor of New York has handled the entire scandal surrounding him and the D.C. call girl ring. Identified as "Client #9" by the feds, Eliot Spitzer tendered a resignation today that is not effective till Monday. Huh, must be a governor's ball this weekend. How many times can one arrogant man say "I", "My" or "Me"? Here are just a couple sentences to prove my point. "I am deeply sorry that I did not live up to what was expected of me. To every New Yorker and to all those who believed in what I tried to stand for, I sincerely apologize." WHEW, wait there's more. "There is much to be done, and I cannot allow for my private failings to disrupt the people's work." Like giving illegal aliens drivers licenses (my words).

To my wife and three daughters, I am sorry - faggetaboutit! It was morally and legally wrong, went against my oath as an officer of the court and I humbly apologize for my actions - fat chance.

He should have went to Bubba for some post affair advice. Bite your lip son! Talk in a low raspy voice like you are gonna cry. If that fails, then Deny, Deny , Deny. It looked as though his wife Silda had garnered some advice from Hillary as she stood by her man.

Snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory

As little as six months ago, Senator Clinton was the overwhelming choice of the left for the Presidential nomination. Then she lost eleven straight contests to Senator Obama and the wheels came off her campaign. Now after winning two big primaries on Tuesday, Senator Clinton is proclaiming her rightful spot right next to BHO. Not so fast. She still trails Obama in the important count of delegates and the even more important still category of like-ability. Many pundits believe that she could win out the remaining primaries and still not get the nomination. It's all in the math. Hillary, however, learned from a different math book. Right now she is busy lawyering up, readying her staff for an all out war in the super delegate realm and setting the groundwork for a re-vote in Florida, if not Michigan. In the end, no one really wants another run with the Clintons. Everyone just wants to move on.

That leads me to Senator Obama. Regardless of whether you think he has the experience or not, I happen to think his experience level is satisfactory, his speech resonates louder than his policy. When you get right down to it, there is not much difference between him and Hillary. She voted for the war before she voted against it, he never voted for it. They both want nationalized healthcare. He will ask you nicely to buy into it, she will force you. They are both big taxing, big spending liberals. Obama was even voted most liberal in the Senate - over Ted Kennedy OUCH! His rhetoric is pleasing to the ears. We all want change of some kind, right? I have "hope" as much as the next guy, but Obama reminds me of a snake oil salesman in the old west. Just drink the BHO potion and it will cure what problems you have. Problem is everyone buys into it, but no one ever feels better. Go sell socialism somewhere else, we're all stocked up here.
